Bamboo matcha spoon for your ceremony
This matcha spoon “Chashaku” in premium quality measures about 1 gram of matcha tea and makes the preparation even easier. This matcha spoon is made of bamboo, a rapidly renewable and natural raw material.
Not sure how to make your own matcha? This is really easy:
- Take the matcha spoon and put about 2 tips of the matcha directly into the bowl
- Heat approx. 70 ml of water to 80-90°C
- Pour a small amount of water directly into the bowl and stir the mixture using the matcha whisk until smooth
- Pour in the remaining water and whisk the matcha with the matcha whisk until frothy – this may take 1 to 2 minutes.
For the preparation you still need a bowl, a matcha whisk and matcha tea. You can find our matcha bowls made of Japanese ceramics “Akira” or “Mei”. Alternatively, of course, a cereal bowl also does the job.
