Introducing our high quality matcha whisk made from 100% natural bamboo! This traditional whisk, also known as a chasen, is an essential tool for preparing the perfect matcha.
Each match whisk is made by skilled craftsmen with care and attention to detail to ensure the highest quality. The bamboo from which the whisk is made is carefully selected for its strength and durability. Thus, it also withstands daily use. Bamboo is a rapidly renewable and natural raw material.
The matcha whisk has numerous thin, flexible prongs that whip the matcha powder until it is frothy and creamy. The bristles are arranged to exert gentle pressure on the surface of the tea. This creates excellent aromatic and frothy matcha.
Our matcha whisk is not only functional, but also aesthetically pleasing. The natural bamboo wood gives it a simple and elegant look that will suit any kitchen. It’s also easy to clean – just rinse with warm water and let dry. Cleaning agents are not necessary.

Not sure how to make your own matcha? This is really easy:
- Take the matcha spoon and put about 2 tips of the matcha directly into the bowl
- Heat approx. 70 ml of water to 80-90°C
- Pour a small amount of water directly into the bowl and stir the mixture using the matcha whisk until smooth
- Pour in the remaining water and whisk the matcha with the matcha whisk until frothy – this may take 1 to 2 minutes.
For the preparation you still need a bowl and matcha tea. You can find our matcha bowls made of Japanese ceramics “Akira” or “Yoshiko”. Alternatively, of course, a cereal bowl also does the job.
